Twelve years. One client at a time. Real work. Real outcomes.

OUR WORK

Every organization we have worked with came to us at a moment of significance — a campaign to lead, a board to strengthen, a program to build. These are their stories.

Logos Preparatory Academy

"We had twenty years of faithful families and a mission worth believing in. What we didn't have was a building,  or any real experience raising the kind of money it would take to get one."

Scene 1.jpg

Logos Prep has served Fort Bend County for more than twenty years as a University-Model® school — a distinctive approach where students learn on campus part of the week and at home the rest, with parents as true partners in their child's education. Families who find Logos Prep tend to stay. But the school had outgrown its leased space, and the growing community it had built deserved something more permanent. What Logos Prep had in abundance was mission and loyalty — what it lacked was the fundraising infrastructure and campaign experience to turn that goodwill into a building. Working alongside school leadership and a dedicated campaign cabinet, Wendy helped them organize their donor community, build a compelling case for support, and make the asks that a school with this much belief behind it had simply never made before.

OUTCOME

Logos Prep successfully completed its capital campaign, raising $6.5 milllion toward the construction of a permanent campus in Fort Bend County — giving its students, families, and faculty the home their community had been building toward for two decades.

Houston Public Media

We had committed board members and a mission the city believed in. What we needed was a clear system — one that brought the right people in, put them to work well, and created a path forward for everyone involved."

Houston Public Media serves one of the most diverse and culturally rich cities in the country, and its board carries a public trust that goes beyond the organization itself. But even institutions with deep community roots can find themselves without the governance infrastructure that sustains long-term leadership: the clear processes, defined expectations, and meaningful structure that turn a group of capable people into a functioning board. Over the course of a year, Wendy worked alongside Houston Public Media's leadership team and Board of Directors to build exactly that, creating a comprehensive governance framework covering everything from how prospective board members are identified and engaged, to how committees are structured and how terms are defined. Every organization reaches a point where the informal systems that carried it through its early years need to be replaced by something more intentional, and Houston Public Media was ready for that work.

OUTCOME

Houston Public Media emerged from the engagement with a clearly defined board governance structure — from prospect identification and onboarding through committee roles and term limits — giving the organization and its leadership a repeatable, sustainable process for building the board its mission requires.

She became part of our team — we forgot she wasn't on staff.

Your organization could be
the next story we tell.

Every engagement starts with a real conversation — about where you are, what you are facing, and whether we are the right fit for each other.
